Digital River is a very large and well respected company that sells software over the internet. As a matter of fact, CompUSA, Best Buy, Staples, etc. use them for their on-line sales of software.

When I was looking for a way to sell Signing Tracker, I wanted a secure and reputable company to handle my customers' (and my) money. I checked out about a dozen companies, all of which where well known and had excellent reputations. But I chose Regnow for three reasons:

1. I had successfully bought a lot of software from them with no hassle or problems
2. Their headquarters is 30 miles from me, and if I were to have any problems, I could go in person to set things right.
3. They have a system to verify all transactions. If this system flags a card, a human being interfaces and verifies that card.

Reduce Loss in Online Buying

1. NEVER put your card number in an e-mail!
2. Only put your card number on secure web pages. Web pages are secure if you can see an ‘https’ instead of just ‘http’ and you see a little lock [IE] or a little key [Netscape] in the bottom of your browser. If you can’t see the lock,: go to your browser menu options under File > Properties.
3. Even on secure order forms, DO NOT use debit or check cards. They don’t have the same consumer protection benefits that credit cards offer.
